For proper installation the center-to-center spacing between adjacent knobs should be at least 3 inches (≥76 mm), and individual knob height should be no greater than 1.9 inches (≤48 mm).
Before installation, measure your stove’s knob dimensions and spacing to confirm compatibility. The package’s adhesive options give you the choice to simply press the cover on or to use the sticky pads for a more permanent placement, depending on your preference and the stove finish.

Solved my sensitivity issue
My range knobs are very touchy and would switch on when brushed. These clear covers are smooth and don’t snag on clothing. The lock mechanism feels robust and the transparency blends into the cooktop. Worth the buy.

Mixed results
They do stop my toddler from turning burners, but some sticky pads lost grip after a few weeks. The latch can be tight and one or two covers now wiggle rather than lock. Easy to fit initially, just not the longest lasting set I’ve tried.

Fits my knobs perfectly
I’d tried another style with side buttons that were too wide. These matched my RV oven hole size and the clear adhesive strips don’t block the markings. I split one adhesive strip to avoid puckering and it held well after cleaning the surface first. Positioned with the opening up so they fall closed on their own—no more accidental gas bumps.

Finally something that stops our cat
Our clever cat learned to turn burners on. These covers have slowed him down—he can no longer spin the dials. They’re clear so you can still see settings and they’ve held up to the cat’s attempts so far.
