The adhesive alone was marginal so I used the screws. My preteens haven’t been able to bypass it and the small size keeps it discreet.

Good as a deterrent
Put on the garage fridge to keep kids away from certain drinks. Lightweight plastic that could be forced by someone determined, but effective against curious kids.

Helps with kids and elderly care
Provides security for children and elderly relatives. My family member with dementia cannot pry it open and teens haven’t figured it out. I bought several and like that the code can be changed. It may lift some finishes and adheres to glass.

No setup instructions included
Came with a small plastic tool but no directions for changing the code. Mine was set to zeros so anyone could open it until I figured it out.

Does the job reliably
Mounted on a small upright freezer outdoors. Easy to attach and use; feels a bit cheap but holds firm. You must hold the button to retract the pin, which can be awkward with full hands.
