ISEYOU Rechargeable Running Light Vest — 500-Lumen Front & Rear Safety Light
Product description
Bright, active illumination: The set centers on a 500-lumen front lamp that can light up to roughly 295 feet (≈90 m) ahead and a rear safety lamp designed to be seen from up to about 1000 feet. Unlike passive reflective gear that only reacts to external beams, this vest provides constant, active lighting. Surrounding 360° reflective strips add passive visibility so you’re guarded from all angles.
Mode selection and adjustable beam: The front unit offers six output modes and the rear lamp has two light modes; both are controlled separately via dedicated buttons and remember your last setting. The front lamp can tilt through a 45° range so you can aim light for close navigation or to reach farther down the trail or road. This flexibility makes it suitable for trail running, urban routes, hiking and other mixed terrain.
Battery and charging details: Built around a non-removable 1800mAh prismatic lithium-ion cell, the system includes dual USB-C charging cables so the front and rear can be recharged at the same time. Expect roughly 4–16 hours from the front lamp depending on mode, and about 5–10 hours from the rear. Typical full charge times are around 3–4 hours for the front light and near 25 minutes for the rear unit, giving quick turnaround between sessions.
Fit and construction: The vest uses a dual-shoulder support layout to spread weight evenly and reduce the head/neck pressure you might get from a headlamp. Waist adjustment runs from about 31–51 inches (80–130 cm) and shoulder straps adjust from roughly 12–24 inches (30–60 cm), fitting a broad range of body sizes and clothing layers. The materials combine reflective fabric panels with lightweight strap webbing for low bulk and all-day comfort.
Weather resistance and uses: Rated IPX4, the vest tolerates sweat, splashes and light rain so it holds up to running, cycling, hiking, dog walking and outdoor work. Its hands-free design and mix of active lighting plus reflective surfaces make it a versatile companion whether you need to be seen by traffic or want to illuminate the path ahead.
Pros
- Strong 500-lumen front light and bright rear beacon
- Independent front/rear modes with memory and tiltable beam
- Dual USB-C charging and quick rear recharge
Cons
- Front beam range could be longer for very fast trail runs
- Front battery is non-removable
- May shift slightly on some body shapes during vigorous movement
VerdictA practical, hands-free lighting solution for anyone who does pre-dawn or after-dark activity. The bright 500-lumen front light and a clearly visible rear beacon keep you seen from multiple directions, while reflective strips provide full-circle visibility. The vest’s adjustable straps and dual-shoulder support reduce pressure versus head-mounted lights, and the independent front/rear controls wit

Bought a second as a gift
I liked my first so much I ordered another for someone else. I use it nearly every day and usually only need to recharge about once a month, so battery endurance is excellent. The straps adjust to fit most sizes and the high-visibility fabric keeps you noticeable even in dim light. Very versatile for any hands-free, after-dark activity. Highly recommend.

Stays centered and secure
Works well and holds position. I had another single-strap model that twisted; this one stays centered and doesn’t shift.

Good light but limited runtime
Works well for early mornings and evenings. I can get two 3–4 mile runs per charge, but if you go over six miles you might need to recharge before your next outing. Straps are reflective and can be tightened; fits snug with layers, a bit loose with just a tank on me (I wear a small).

Reliable for late-night road runs
Comfortable and lightweight — a nice replacement for waving a phone light. Straps adjust easily; it can ride up a little during movement but it’s not a dealbreaker. The rear red light makes my direction clear to others and the front lamp tilts down or forward. I wish the beam reached farther on high speed trails, but it’s plenty for roads. Battery life has been dependable and the front unit shows charge level. No chafing after several runs; looser shirts may bunch a bit.

Excellent value
Bought this a few days ago and it arrived with some charge so I could use it immediately. Lightweight with comfortable adjustable straps. Front and rear run independently with multiple modes; the front is very bright on country lanes while the rear could be a touch stronger. Overall a great value.
