100-Piece Magnetic Marble Run Tiles — STEM Building Set
Product description
WHAT'S IN THE BOX: This kit contains 100 magnetic building components — square magnetic tiles plus a selection of chutes, curved slopes, funnels and U-turn pieces — and five steel marbles for running through the tracks.
MATERIALS & SAFETY: Parts are molded from BPA-free, non-toxic ABS plastic with reinforced edges for improved durability. The set has been tested to safety standards in an accredited lab and carries CPC/ASTM testing credentials.
DESIGN & SIZE/COMPATIBILITY: Tiles use a standard magnetic tile footprint so they interlock with other compatible magnetic tile systems. Chutes and slide halves click into the tiles to form runs and can be combined to create longer tracks.
HOW IT’S USED: Children assemble towers, ramps and channels to build gravity-powered mazes. The steel marbles roll through funnels, curves and U-turns, encouraging kids to experiment with height, angle and connection layout to change marble speed and path.
SKILLS & SETTINGS: Designed for ages 3 and up, the set supports open-ended construction play that builds hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, spatial reasoning and basic engineering thinking. Ideal for home playtime, preschool activities, or group STEM sessions.

Solid build and strong magnets
Excellent quality and the magnets hold pieces together securely. My child plays with it a lot.

Creative but better for older kids
Fun, colorful set that teaches shapes and colors, but some long pieces feel flimsy when separating them. My 3-year-old struggles to assemble parts alone; I’d suggest ages 5+ for independent play. Some models in the booklet seem to need more pieces than one set provides.

Perfect for group play and travel
If the balls aren’t a choking risk for your child, this is a great pick. Packed for a short trip and kept grandchildren busy — even adults joined in. Consider buying extra marbles in case some go missing.

Helpful tips for complex builds
My 4-year-old and I spent hours building. The chute pieces are snug — great for stability but tricky to remove. A thin plastic card can be used to gently pry a chute off. If your design needs more stability, attach tiles to both ends of a chute and rely on magnet connections for support.

Meets expectations so far
Built a fun track right away. Time will tell how durable the plastic clips are where the chutes snap into the squares.

Quality could be improved
We own classic magnetic tiles and expected similar durability. The tube pieces are thin and hard to snap in or remove, so adults end up doing the work. The marbles roll well (there’s a bearing) and suit kids 5 and older.

Family favorite — lots of creative play
We gave this to our 3½-year-old and the whole family gets involved. Marbles are slightly larger than classic ones, which is reassuring but still worth watching with very young children. Bright colors and the included idea booklet help spark new designs and problem-solving. A small caveat: a few small parts require supervision.

Great for engineering and critical thinking
Two weeks into our homeschool routine and this set is a hit with ages 10, 7 and even 13. They experiment with height, turns and drop angles to influence the ball’s motion, which builds planning and problem-solving skills. Works well with other magnetic tile brands.
