Steadyjoy Bedside Commode Toilet — Padded, Height‑Adjustable Aluminum Chair
Product description
Comfortable foam padding and roomy seating — The chair is fitted with a 1.8" (4.5 cm) thick foam‑padded seat and matching padded backrest to reduce pressure during longer use. The space between the non‑slip armrests measures 21", offering a wide, deep seating area suitable for most adults and seniors.
Lightweight, reinforced aluminum frame — Constructed from rust‑resistant aluminum with a V‑shaped crossbar for added stability, the commode is lighter than many steel models while supporting up to 350 lb. Rubberized, non‑slip feet keep the unit steady on level indoor floors.
Three ways to use it & adjustable height — The design works as a bedside commode with the included bucket, as a raised toilet seat over a compatible toilet, or as a portable potty chair for adults. Push‑button, tool‑free leg adjustment changes the seat height from 18" to 23" to match user needs and existing bathroom fixtures.
Removable, hygienic waste bucket — The 6.8 qt (approximately 6.4 L) plastic bucket comes with a secure lid and splash guard to reduce spills and trap odors. A molded carry handle and smooth wipe‑clean aluminum surfaces simplify emptying and maintenance. Assembly requires no tools and can be completed in minutes.
Convenient accessories & portability — The package includes an organizer pouch and a toilet‑paper holder that attach to the frame so essentials stay within reach. The chair’s compact footprint suits bedrooms, bathrooms and other confined areas, making it easy to move for travel or home care.

VerdictThis bedside commode toilet blends comfort and practicality: generous padding and a wide seat make it more comfortable than basic plastic models, while the lightweight, rust‑resistant aluminum frame provides solid support up to 350 lb. Thoughtful design — makes bedroom trips simpler
After researching options I bought this chair. It’s robust, stable and comfortable. Instead of rushing to the bathroom I can simply pivot out of bed onto the commode. Materials and construction feel substantial and the overall design works well.

Solid, lightweight and easy to move
Bought this ahead of knee replacement. It was simple to put together and height changes are effortless. The unit is light enough to reposition when needed but still stable and comfortable. Wide, deep seating feels secure. The built‑in toilet paper holder is a nice extra.

Good build and caregiver‑friendly
My first time buying a commode for an elderly relative. No tools required for assembly and it sits sturdy (we placed it against the wall for safety). Padded seat, back and armrests are comfortable. The bucket and lid fit neatly and liners make cleanup much easier. Adjustable legs helped match the user's leg length.

Durable, quick to assemble, good value
Very steady and durable. Assembly was quick—my 10‑year‑old had it together in about five minutes. Comes with a paper bar and rubber feet that grip well. Overall a good value.

Excellent for the bedroom but note male ergonomics
Arrives disassembled but the illustrated manual makes setup straightforward, even though it’s only in English. Most parts snap together and only a few small screws are hand‑tightened — expect about 20–30 minutes to finish. The aluminum frame feels solid and height is adjustable. Seat and back padding are generous, armrests sit comfortably, and non‑slip feet keep it steady. The only caveat is the removable bucket: its shape and opening may not be ideal for some male users, so check fit for specific needs.

Well built but watch the bucket
A well‑made, sturdy commode with nice padding and very strong suction feet. My only concern is the bucket can slip out fairly easily; remove or secure it before moving the chair. It does slide smoothly for emptying, just be cautious.

Stable, comfortable, and practical
A very stable bedside commode with generous padding on the seat and back. Easy to assemble, clean and move when needed. Height adjustment and the strong frame provide confidence, and the paper holder plus storage bag are handy extras.

Very comfortable and well made
This commode has been extremely helpful. Feels solid yet moveable. The cushioned seat and back are far more pleasant than hard plastic for extended sitting. Easy to assemble and adjust to the right height. Wide armrests aid transfers and the removable bucket, pouch and paper holder are genuinely useful.
