Deluxe Travel Scrabble — Folding Wooden Magnetic Board Game Set
Product description
This deluxe travel edition is housed in a compact folding wood case that locks shut with a magnetic clasp, making it easy to carry for vacations, camping, or café matches. When closed it doubles as an attractive wooden box for shelves or tabletops.
The playing surface incorporates a raised tile grid that holds each letter tile in place so pieces don’t slide during bumpy rides or outdoor breezes. The top panels slide away to reveal integrated storage beneath the board, keeping all components organized and protected between games.
Included with the set are 100 solid wood letter tiles printed in high-contrast black, four matching wooden racks sized for travel, a paper scorepad, a pencil, and a full rule sheet. The components are made to feel sturdy and tactile while remaining lightweight for portability.
Specs: Opens to a playing area of 9.8" x 9.2" x 1.2" and folds to a compact 9.8" x 4.6" x 2.4". Total weight is approximately 1.5 lbs. Designed by WS Game Company in Massachusetts and officially licensed by Hasbro. Recommended for 2–4 players, ages 8 and up.

Perfect travel companion for wordplay
I was hesitant but glad I bought it. We carried it through Europe in a backpack and used it outdoors with drinks. It’s intentionally small for travel and worked beautifully. Highly recommended.

Adorable and handy for trips
This travel Scrabble is very cute. I’m excited to bring it on my cruise to play while at sea for a couple of days. Great concept for on-the-go gaming.

Arrived well protected
Received it wrapped with corner protectors. A couple of tiny scuffs on the edge were barely noticeable and easily touched up. I left components in packaging until our trip; the board itself looks good so far.

Just right for travel
Exactly what I wanted—time to play! Love the magnetic closure and compact size.

Beautifully made and practical
Exactly like the photos. Pieces nest neatly inside the case and the board edge keeps tiles from slipping. The top panels can slide fully out and the tied cloth bag sometimes needs repositioning to close, but overall a great design.

Nearly ideal for travel
Tiles are about 1/2 inch and fit the small squares well, staying put while playing. The wooden box stores everything neatly. The tile bag can be hard to flatten for closing and racks are a touch tight, but perfect for flights.

Solid board, fun gameplay
Bought it for a weekend away. The board feels sturdy, tiles have good weight, and they sit snugly without being hard to remove. Learned quickly and had a blast—though my opponent refused a rematch after losing badly.

Great for café matches
Love this for sidewalk café Scrabble. Tiles are easy to handle, the velvet bag is nice, and the petite board spins on a small table without being flimsy. Everything packs back into the box for the car.

Good folding design, small letters
I like the folding and build quality, but the wooden letters feel small and light and don’t sit as comfortably for me.

Smaller than expected for older eyes
Feels geared toward smaller hands. At my age my eyesight makes the tiny tiles fiddly, though the grid does hold them steady once placed. Construction is good—just be prepared for small pieces.
