Fluted 9-Drawer Wooden Dresser — 57in Wide Modern Chest
Product description
Contemporary styling with textured fluted fronts and a natural oak appearance give this dresser a designer look. The top has a pronounced wood grain finish that pairs with wide metal handles and outward-angled base legs for a mid-century modern vibe.
Built from quality MDF and P2-grade engineered wood with coated metal hardware, the unit balances aesthetics and durability. The nine drawers are mounted on built-in slides; each drawer is rated to hold about 25 lbs while the reinforced tabletop can support up to 180 lbs. For routine upkeep, simply wipe surfaces with a damp cloth and let air-dry.
This long dresser offers plenty of organization space: nine deep drawers accommodate clothing, linens, accessories or cosmetics. The broad top doubles as a TV surface or display area for frames, plants and mirrors, making it suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and entryways.
Beyond serving as a bedroom dresser, the cabinet can function as a console, side table or even a large nightstand in compact homes, dorms or apartments. Its low-profile footprint helps it fit into smaller rooms while providing significant storage.
Safety features include an anti-tip anchor to secure the unit to the wall and a sturdy base with an adjustable middle foot to level the dresser on uneven floors. Wide metal handles and smooth slide rails make drawers easy to open and close.
Dimensions: 57.1 × 15.55 × 30.5 inches (145 × 39.5 × 77.5 cm). Weight: 109.8 lbs (50.3 kg). The dresser ships in parts and comes with assembly instructions and hardware bags; average assembly time is about two hours and can be shortened with a power drill or an extra set of hands.
Pros
- Stylish fluted design with modern hardware
- Nine spacious drawers for ample organization
- Anti-tip anchor and adjustable center foot for stability
Cons
- Assembly is time-consuming and involves many parts
- Some hardware (handles) may feel less premium
- Heavy toward the end of assembly — a second person helps
VerdictStylish and roomy, this fluted 9-drawer dresser delivers strong storage and a modern look for bedrooms or living areas. Assembly can be time-consuming and a partner helps for the heavy lift, but the build quality, smooth drawers and safety features make it a solid choice for everyday use.

Responsive Support and Attractive Piece
Delivery was quick but one small part arrived damaged. Customer service sent a replacement quickly without hassle. The dresser matches the listed dimensions. I had one drawer that didn’t close smoothly—tightening a screw on the rail fixed it. No other issues; I also bought the matching nightstand.

Totally Worth It!
I absolutely love this dresser. The drawers are very deep and hold far more than my old dresser. It’s heavy-duty and exactly like the pictures. Assembly is detailed—best with a partner—and can take 3–5 hours, but no regrets; I’m very happy with it.

Challenging Assembly, Worth the Effort
I’m very pleased with the dresser and would give it five stars for the finished look and sturdiness. At 78 I’ve built many pieces and this was the most complex I’ve tackled, but manageable solo. I organized all parts by number before starting and took longer than the estimated time. Near the end it gets heavy, so help is useful, but if you’re comfortable with furniture assembly you can complete it alone.

Ideal First Dresser for a Couple
My wife and I bought this for our first apartment and we love it. The fluted fronts and nine drawers were the selling points. It arrived in manageable boxes and we assembled it in about two hours. Drawers were straightforward and after eight months it’s holding up well. Great option for two people.

High-End Look on a Budget
This dresser looks modern and pricier than it is. It took about two hours to assemble without issues. Drawers glide smoothly and stay closed. Each drawer holds average amounts of clothes; my spouse and I each use three drawers and it stores underwear, activewear and casual items nicely. Very happy with this purchase.

Good Value, Some Assembly Headaches
Overall I rate it four stars. The dresser looks great, drawers are roomy and run smoothly, and it’s lighter than expected for moving into place. Assembly took two of us about three hours with a drill; instructions were okay but time-consuming. The handles felt a bit cheap compared to the rest of the piece.

Even Better in Person
Bought this for my college-age daughter. The wood panels feel thick and good quality. There are many pieces but the instructions are clear. I used a drill to preassemble the drawers so we could carry them upstairs separately; the drawers are deep and the fluting with gold pulls is lovely. Delivered well packed and undamaged.
