Exactly what we were looking for

Sturdy wooden bench with hidden compartment
Looks just like the listing. I bought the narrow two-tier version for the foot of my bed—about 11–12" deep when assembled so it fits my tight space. It’s comfortable and feels safe to sit on. Assembly was simple with the supplied Allen wrench; took me 20–30 minutes alone even with arthritis. Holds roughly ten pairs of women's shoes on the shelves and the flip-top is handy for small items.

Solid construction; skipped the middle shelf
Sturdy and all holes lined up correctly—assembly was very easy. I removed the middle shelf because it made each section too shallow for full-size shoes. I wanted black but brown is nice; might repaint later.
