Express & Guess Charades Card Game — Family Charades Deck
Product description
What’s included
The set includes 200 double-sided prompt cards, a challenge (chaos) die, a countdown timer, and a compact storage box sized for easy transport.
Materials and size
Cards are printed on thick, semi-gloss cardstock designed to resist bending during lively play. Each card is roughly standard playing-card dimensions so little hands can hold them comfortably. The timer is a small, durable unit that fits inside the box along with the die and card deck.
How to play
Players split into teams, draw a card, flip the timer, and try to get teammates to guess as many prompts as possible before the clock runs out. Each prompt can be completed in one of two ways: mime the clue with gestures or describe it out loud without using the answer word. The chaos die adds spontaneous rules—examples include restricting gestures to one hand, standing on one leg, or closing your eyes—which makes rounds unpredictable and uproarious. Easy setup and simple turns make the game suitable for quick family sessions, birthday parties, classrooms, travel, and kids-versus-parents showdowns.

The Retail Detective 5/5
Timer and die make family nights better
At first we weren’t sure, but once we started playing it became a go-to for rainy days and weekends. The timer keeps rounds snappy, and the chaos die’s one-leg/one-hand rules create hilarious, competitive kids-vs-parents matchups.

Penguin0418 5/5
Solid family night addition
A fun game to add to family night—age-appropriate and straightforward to play. Directions are easy to follow and the group always gets involved.

Cayla Miller 3/5
Good idea but awkward to act out
Cute concept, but many medium-to-hard prompts are too detailed to pantomime effectively. Unless you lean heavily on the describing option, some clues feel impractical to act out.

honest to a fault 4/5
Huge hit with kids and adults
We played with my five-year-old nephew and everyone had a blast. Each card lists multiple difficulty prompts so it works across ages; the cardstock feels thick and glossy. My only gripe is the brief instructions—you’ll likely adapt a few house rules for the describing rounds.

Axum Phoenix 5/5
Inclusive, screen-free chaos that really works
This game has been great at pulling my grandkids off screens and into active play. The two play options mean younger children can describe prompts if they can’t mime them, and the ridiculous clues—like a furious toaster tossing toast—spark instant laughter. Build quality is solid and the pieces have held up to frequent use.

A fun, easy-to-learn charades deck with both acting and explaining options so it never gets stale. The timer adds pressure and laughs, and the 200 cards provide lots of replay value. Compact size makes it great to pack for travel.

Surprisingly brilliant for a simple box of cards
We dove in immediately and it pulled everyone into the game. Whether folks act or explain, even the worst performances had us in stitches. Highly recommended for big laughs.

🚨 Quality Control 🚨 4/5
Fast, funny, and occasionally tough for little ones
A lively spin on classic charades that brings chaos with the challenge die and bright, silly prompts. It’s uproarious, though some abstract ideas are a stretch for younger children to act out.

Entertaining and educational
Perfect for my grandson’s 7th birthday — a simple, fun guessing game that kept him engaged and laughing the whole time.

Bridges ages and holds up well
The deck of 200 double-sided cards balances acting and describing prompts and the semi-gloss, sturdy finish stands up to energetic play. Card size is handy for small hands, making it suitable for younger groups.

EJA 5/5
Fun overall, a few borderline clues
Generally good family entertainment, though a handful of prompts felt iffy for some relatives. Most rounds were still a big laugh.
