100-Pack Clear 30mm Coin Capsules with Foam Inserts & Organizer Box
Product description
Materials and clarity:
The capsules are molded from thick, high-clarity PS plastic designed to resist dust and oxidation while showing both sides of a coin. Each coin capsule snaps together to form a tight seal and sits neatly inside the organizer tray.
Crescent access tab:
Each round case includes a crescent-shaped notch at the rim to make prying the lid open easier. The lid and base press together snugly to minimize air and dust exposure, helping preserve coin surfaces.
Five foam ring sizes:
The kit supplies EVA foam gasket rings in five diameters — 17mm, 20mm, 25mm, 27mm and 30mm — so you can seat a wide range of coin types. Rings are cut from foam pads so you can separate the correct size and nest coins securely to prevent sliding and abrasions.
Typical uses:
These clear containers work well for quarters, dollars, pennies, challenge coins and other small to mid-size pieces. Note that coins slightly over 30.0mm in diameter will not fit inside the 30mm capsule.
What’s included:
100 clear 30mm coin capsules. 100 EVA foam gasket rings in assorted sizes. 1 plastic storage organizer box with compartments sized to hold the capsules for neat, transportable storage.
How to use:
Choose the foam ring that matches your coin diameter, press the ring into the capsule base, place the coin flat inside, then snap the lid on until it clicks. Arrange filled capsules in the storage box to keep your collection sorted and protected.
Pros
- Thick, transparent PS plastic displays and protects coins
- Five EVA foam ring sizes prevent sliding and scratching
- Organizer box keeps capsules sorted and portable
Cons
- 30mm capsule won’t accept coins slightly larger than 30mm
- Capsules can be tight to open at first
- Not suitable for larger commemorative half-dollars
VerdictA cost-effective kit for collectors who need transparent, protective cases and neat storage. Thick PS capsules display coins clearly while EVA foam rings in five sizes secure most modern coins. Snap lids and crescent tabs reduce dust and oxidation concerns, though coins exceeding 30mm won’t fit.
