This set contains two long-nose pliers: one 6-inch and one 8-inch tool. The bodies are forged from high-carbon steel for durability, and the grips are covered in TPR material that meets environmental protection standards. The pliers are built with neat, precisely machined jaws and a comfortable, non-slip handle profile.
Cutting performance and hardness
The cutting edge is heat-treated to a hardness of about HRC60–62 with shear hardness around HRC48–49, delivering the strength needed to cut single-strand wire cleanly. The blades are ground sharp and intended for long life; the plier heads are made relatively thick to resist misalignment or deformation during tougher tasks.
Grip, ergonomics and spring action
TPR handles are oil-resistant and shaped to reduce hand fatigue during extended use, allowing controlled single-hand operation. Only the 6-inch needle-nose in this set has a spring to assist opening and reduce effort; the longer 8-inch model is springless but offers greater reach and leverage.
Design and functionality
The pliers use simple lever mechanics—the handle length relative to the head increases mechanical advantage for easier cutting and clamping. The extended, tapered nose makes it simpler to work in cramped or narrow spaces. Typical functions include fastening, clamping, winding, cutting and light stripping operations.
Applications

They work well and I gave an extra star for performance, but they arrived unsealed and looked like they may have been handled. Not top-tier tools, but acceptable for the price. I’m cleaning them before adding them to my kit and will monitor durability.
