Bought it in June and use it every time I drive. I have it in my CD slot — it can shake a little on rough roads but my phone never falls out. Love it!

Prefer CD-slot style
I’ve always liked CD-slot mounts for their consistency. Once tightened they hold well. New cars lacking CD drives are the issue, and vent mounts depend on flimsy vents. The side arms on this model are a bit shallower than photos suggest, so some bulky cases fit tighter than I expected, but it still works reliably.

Well made and useful

Mixed feelings
Well made overall, but it can struggle to grip my CD slot fully. I don’t want to overtighten it and risk damage, so it can slip if I’m not careful. Not terrible, but could be improved.

Best quality I've tried
After trying several mounts this one stands out. Good materials, clever design, stays put and doesn’t vibrate. Mounting in the CD player gives the best view; occasionally I flip it up for the rear camera. Been using it months with only positives.

Great for older dashboards
My Jeep Cherokee XJ has no flat dash or reliable vents; this CD-slot mount solved that. I pushed it into the CD opening, tightened the screw and it’s rock-solid. The ball joint lets me tilt easily. If you still use a CD player this isn’t ideal, but for my Bluetooth setup it’s perfect. Solid and well made — highly recommend.
