Stainless Steel Tub & Shower Hair Catcher — Removable Drain Strainer
Product description
Upgraded removable hair catcher: This drain protector comes as a two-piece unit with a perforated outer skirt and a detachable inner basket. The fine holes are arranged to trap long and short strands while permitting water to run freely, and the basket also prevents toys or loose items from slipping into the pipe.
Thoughtful two-part design: The unit installs and removes by hand—no tools required. The central basket lifts out with the built-in finger loop for quick rinsing or wiping. To clean, simply lift, empty the collected debris, and rinse; the parts separate for a more thorough wash when needed.
Premium construction: Made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the strainer offers solid weight and rigidity so it won’t deform under light pressure. The metal finish keeps its look over time and resists staining and mildew compared with typical plastics.
Practical protection for pipes: Use this catcher to intercept hair, lint, and small particles before they accumulate in the drain. It helps reduce the risk of blockages and can keep you from needing frequent professional snaking or chemical cleaners.
Warranty and sizing: The product includes a one-year support commitment for manufacturing defects. The unit’s footprint is 4.5 x 4.5 x 1.4 inches—please measure your drain opening before ordering to ensure a proper fit.

Finally a drain cover that actually works
Replaced my old cover and this one fits snugly, catches hair every time, and still lets water flow. Cleaning is simple and it hasn’t discolored. Highly recommend.

Handles lots of pet hair
Does exactly what it should — empties quickly and caught a huge amount of hair when washing our dog. Very pleased.

Works well despite a small tub imperfection
Performs as expected and looks good. My tub has a tiny divot near the drain so a small amount of water pools, and a few hairs slip under, but overall it still catches most debris and is easy to clear.

Effective and as advertised
This fit my round shower drain perfectly and works much better than silicone traps I tried. Very effective; I’d buy again and recommend it if it matches your drain.

Looks built-in and feels premium
Well-made with enough weight to stay put. A silicone rim helps prevent hairs from sneaking underneath. Cleans easily and blends with the tub finish.

Fits perfectly — doesn’t budge
I tried many options that wouldn’t sit right. This one dropped into place and stayed put. Water drains while hair collects on top. Simple and dependable so far.

Well-built, sleek, and easy to lift
Attractive, contemporary look and the center hook makes removal effortless. Picks up hair, threads, and lint without fuss. I’ll be telling others about this one.

Catches hair without blocking water — useful
Better than I expected; it traps hair while allowing drainage. A bit pricier than plastic, but worth it for the quality.

Pretty and solid, but less effective than cheap plastic
I wanted to replace an ugly plastic catcher with something nicer. It’s attractive and hefty, but I found my old plastic one actually trapped more strands. Nice finish but disappointing performance for hair capture.

Not recommended
This didn’t retain hair at all for me. It looks nice but failed at the main purpose.

Water pools at the base
No small openings at the bottom of the skirt, so some water tends to stagnate around the cup. A dome-style model from the brand handled that better.

Sturdy and mildew-resistant — my new favorite
Right out of the package it felt solid, not flimsy metal. Works like my old plastic catcher but cleans easier and hasn’t shown mildew. The removable basket took a minute to figure out but now I appreciate the design.
