Screw-together handles loosen too often
The mallets screw together but they keep loosening during play. Constant retightening strips the threads and eventually they stop holding.

Unsafe — mallets came apart
Very disappointed. The colored metal inserts were too long for the connecting threads, and by the end of the first game with my grandchildren the mallets were coming apart. The threaded connections failed and pieces began unscrewing from the shafts, creating a dangerous situation. I don’t usually review, but felt obliged to warn others. I can’t in good conscience give this set more than one star.

Mostly good, one mallet wouldn’t thread
Package arrived quickly and most mallets assembled fine except one. The wooden threads on the shaft and head needed trimming and still only screwed in about 3/4". Everything else was usable, but I won't be using that sixth mallet.

Complete kit, brings back memories
Everything arrived and worked as expected. My husband and I played a few rounds and it was a fun, nostalgic way to spend an afternoon.
