Sea to Summit 35L Lightweight Roll-Top Dry Bag — Olive Green
Product description
Includes: one 35‑liter roll‑top dry bag.
Construction is PU‑coated 70D nylon treated with a durable water‑repellent finish. The roll‑top uses a Hypalon closure and a patent‑pending field repair buckle that can be swapped out in seconds if needed. Inside, a white polyurethane coating improves visibility so you can find gear faster.
Seams are double‑stitched and tape‑sealed to resist water entry. The bag has a low‑profile, streamlined silhouette with an oval base that stabilizes the bag and limits rolling in a pack or boat. A D‑ring and a reinforced base lash loop let you secure the bag to a pack, kayak deck or lash points.
When closed with three rolls of the top, the dry bag measures approximately 12.4 x 11.3 x 21.9 inches and provides 35 liters of storage. Empty weight is about 0.26 pounds, making it a lightweight option for backpacking, hiking, kayaking, ski touring, cycling and general travel use.
Pros
- Very lightweight and packable
- White interior for easier organization
- Replaceable field‑repair buckle
Cons
- Less rugged than heavier fabric dry bags
- Thin fabric can be vulnerable to sharp abrasion
- Not ideal for heavy repeated deck use without protection
VerdictAn ultralight, space‑saving dry bag that keeps kit organized and protected on multi‑sport trips. It isn’t as burly as heavier PVC options, but its tidy shape, waterproof seams and replaceable repair buckle make it ideal for backpacks, kayaks and travel when weight and packability matter.

Perfect for a summer sleeping bag
Used this for my summer sleeping bag — kept it dry in rain and kept things airtight. Material is thin but surprisingly durable. Handy for packing clothes and gear.

Ideal for an inner liner
Used inside a canvas cooler that leaked — the bag held all the water and kept my car floor dry. Very effective.

Worked well but showed wear
Served me well on a Boundary Waters trek but developed a few small holes afterward.

Large and well made
Loved the roomy size for food storage on our backpacking trip. Strong stitching and kept contents dry when hung in a tree.

Kept our canyon rope dry
Carried a heavy rope through wet canyons and it stayed bone dry. Not as bombproof as thicker dry bags, so I stashed it inside a pack or on top of the kayak for protection. Will buy again for backpack use.

What I expected
Spacious at 35 L, super light, white interior is handy. Felt more delicate than thicker models but generally recommended.

Smart shape for packs
Very good dry bag. The oval base fits better in the bottom of a pack than round bags.
