Foldable Alloy-Steel Bike Lock with Mounting Bracket & 4 Keys, 86cm
Product description
Construction and strength: The lock is constructed from six interlinked alloy-steel bars designed for high tensile strength and fatigue resistance. The link design and reinforced rivets increase resistance to common attacks such as sawing and hammering and are intended to frustrate hydraulic cutters rated for lighter targets.
Protective coating and cylinder: Each folding bar is sheathed in an ABS rubber lacquer that resists water, scratches and corrosion. The rivet assemblies are engineered for improved cut resistance and the locking cylinder includes enhanced drill-resistant components to limit tampering.
What’s included and dimensions: The package contains the folding lock, a mounting bracket, two carrying straps and four laser-cut keys. The lock folds down to a compact form and extends to approximately 86 cm (34 inches) when deployed. Total weight is about 2.14 lbs.
Mounting and portability: The bracket can be fixed to the frame, or the supplied non-slip straps secure the folded lock to a seat tube or bottle-cage mount. Six folding bars reduce bulk so the unit tucks away neatly without adding excessive weight to your ride.
Uses and support: Intended to secure bicycles, scooters and motorcycles and useful for anchoring items at home or on the job—gates, grills, lawn equipment and tool chests. The manufacturer provides customer support and includes four keys so you have spares if one is misplaced.
Pros
- Solid alloy construction with cut-resistant rivets
- Protective rubber coating prevents scratches and corrosion
- Includes bracket, straps and four laser-cut keys
Cons
- Not impervious to a determined thief with heavy tools
- Mounting straps may require adjustment for some frames
- Slightly bulky compared with minimalist cable locks
VerdictA robust, portable folding lock that balances security and convenience. The six alloy links and VSR-style rivets resist cutting and sawing attempts, while the ABS rubber finish protects finishes and weatherproofs the lock. It includes a mounting bracket and straps for on-bike storage and four laser-cut keys for backup. Not invulnerable to a determined thief, but a solid deterrent for everyday use

Reliable locking action
Solid lock for bikes, motorcycles and similar uses. I'm pleased with its performance and the seller I purchased from.

Not top-tier security
Fine for a child’s bike or low-risk use, but it lacks the heft and more complex locking parts of premium folding locks. Attractive colors though.

Attachment can be fiddly
Switched from a U-lock and liked the idea, but mounting was awkward. The velcro straps were overly long so I used zip ties to stop rotation. It just fits the case; shorter straps or a center loop would help.

Light, compact and NYC-friendly
Perfect for short stops in the city. Mounts nicely and folds small. Wide enough to loop through a sign post and wheel; lighter than big chains and convenient for quick errands.

Heavy but compact
Feels weighty yet packs down small. Might not stop a determined thief and is a bit awkward to mount at times.

Good build — time will tell
Does the job and seems well made; we’ll see how it ages.

Solid for the cost, minor key issue
Good overall quality for the money, though the cylinder could be smoother — the key occasionally sticks on insertion.

Much easier than a coiled cable
Folds compactly and opens quickly to wrap around posts without wrestling like a coiled cable. I can’t vouch for invincibility, but it’s fine for short public stops.

Good backup or kid lock
Suitable for kids’ bikes or brief locks. Holders and packaging feel solid; some parts won’t deter a very determined thief, but it’s a useful spare.
