8" Heavy-Duty Forged Steel Tent Stakes — 8 Pack with Glow Rings
Product description
Upgraded heavy-duty tent stakes crafted from forged S45C steel for superior strength and durability. The alloy and forging process minimize snapping and bending under load and offer resistance to corrosion so the stakes hold up in outdoor conditions.
Each stake measures approximately 8 inches in length with a hardened, sharp tapered tip designed to penetrate compact soil, gravel and even fractured rock surfaces more effectively than softer pegs. The head features a curved hook to secure guy lines, plus a circular pull hole to assist removal when packed away.
The set contains eight steel pegs, eight removable fluorescent silicone rings for low-light visibility, and a heavy-duty puncture-resistant storage pouch to keep the hardware organized and safely contained. The silicone rings are easy to fit and remove for transport.
These stakes are multipurpose: ideal for anchoring camping tents, sun canopies, beach shelters, wind-prone umbrellas, seasonal inflatables and other outdoor gear. Their robust construction also lets them be used for improvised tasks like supporting a small grill grate over a fire.
Handle with care — the tips are very sharp. Use a mallet or hammer to drive them in, and store them in the pouch between trips to protect other gear and hands.

Very solid construction and good value. Feels like they’ll last through many trips.

No bending so far
Used them once in tough soil with some stones and none bent. Solid performance and easy to drive in.

Strong hold, long length
These stakes hold well and the length gives good anchoring depth. Glow rings are a nice idea but don’t stay luminous long. Use them at an angle for best grip; the extra hole is useful for added tie-downs.

Practical and sturdy
Excellent upgrade over factory stakes. Much stronger than the flimsy ones in pop-up kits. Not ideal for sand, but great in dirt and rocky ground. The little green rings are a useful touch and the pouch keeps them together.

Good, not exceptional
Better than thin wire pegs and more robust than standard tent stakes, though the fluorescent ring doesn’t seat perfectly. Fine for most small tents.

Heavy-duty with realistic expectations
Work exactly as advertised — very sturdy. I did bend the tie-off hook when I pried against a root, but it took a lot of force. The silicone rings glow a bit but aren’t super bright given their size.

Built like a tank
Picked up the 8" set along with longer ones for heavier jobs. These steel stakes powered through a rock that would have wrecked aluminum pegs. They kept going where others bent. Perfect for anchoring canopies and larger tents in wind.

Extremely solid — no bending
Replaced the flimsy stakes that came with our tent and these performed brilliantly. Tough to the point of feeling indestructible when driving them into rocky soil. The glow rings are handy at night, though they can come off; easy to slide back on. Highly recommended for reliable anchoring.
