Sturdy and long-lasting feel

Very solid piece that seems built to last. I added it to a 1960s cement counter during a rehab project (not a full remodel) and it worked well after replacing an old range and hood.

Does what it’s meant to, but arrived very dry and a bit coarse. Needs thorough conditioning and finer sanding to feel premium — basically a slab of bamboo.
